CCAC Achievements

CCAC is all volunteers, and in two years, it's honestly impossible to list all the individual, team, and broader CCAC captioning going on. We list some below. We also launch a newsletter this year soon, that many members and others have asked for, which will summarize, month by month, CCAC captioning advocacy projects (CCAC caps) and try to keep up with it all.

BECOME A SPONSOR IN OUR NEWSLETTER SOON TO SUPPORT ALL THE VOLUNTEER ENERGIES AND ACCOMPLISMENT. EMAIL FOR THE MEDIA KIT AND WITH ANY QUESTIONS, CCACAPTIONING@GMAIL.COM.

CCAC is not a funded national organization such as many deaf and hearing loss groups, literacy and media groups, technology and disability groups, nor does CCAC sell any services or products.

The COLLABORATIVE FOR COMMUNICATION ACCESS VIA CAPTIONING advocates for inclusion of quality captioning universally. Real-time captioning and CART (Communication Access Real-time Translation) is our "ramp" for equal communication access. In all walks of life, from employment to health care and beyond, text is our language also. Inclusion of real time text and prepared text is good universal design. It speaks to us all.

The CCAC Articles and Resources page has a long listing of good information.
